Ireland.anglican.org as many churches have photographs. Cathedrals

What the children will learn about God
Developing the strand objectives further, the following is a
brief synopsis of the theological concepts relating to
God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit which the children
encounter through stories, poems, activities and prayers in the
Moving On programme. The concepts are not listed in any specific
order.

God as Father
listens to our prayers
is worthy of praise through songs, prayers and worship
loves us as members of his family
enjoys our friendship
forgives us when we do wrong
blesses us and looks after us
should be loved with all our heart, soul and mind
loves us like a father (parent)
created the world
is involved with his people throughout the stories in the
Bible and still is involved with us today
is always there for us to trust
keeps his promises
is glorious and majestic
can be described as like a shepherd, a fortress, a protector
and a king
says he will never leave us
spoke to Samuel and still speaks to us
looks at people on the inside
chose and chooses people to do his work
sent Jesus his Son to show us how much he loves us and to

offers friendship to us today
shows us the way to live our lives
is like a cornerstone the most important person, holding us

was raised from the dead by God, appeared to his disciples and
through the Holy Spirit is with us

told his followers he was going to prepare a place for them in
heaven
