Competition

To launch our upgraded website, the Church of Ireland Board of Education ran a competition for all primary schools under Protestant management.

There were two sections in the competition: junior infants to second class and third class up to sixth class.
For the younger group the competition was
- Draw a picture to illustrate ‘A Story Jesus told’.
- Then, write a sentence about why you like the story. (Teachers can help write the
sentence if necessary)
For the older group the competition is
- Create a poem or prayer, which can be illustrated, on one of the following themes: A famous Christian.
(Include a sentence explaining why you chose this person) - A Story Jesus told
(Include a sentence explaining why you chose the story)
Prizes for each section are:
- 1st prize : €50 in book tokens
- 2nd prize : €30 in book tokens
- 3rd prize : €20 in book tokens
Five Highly Commended prizes of €10 in book tokens
